Nature

There are many natural and recreational resources along the Route 30 and Route 30A corridor. Below are some available for visitors.

1. Schoharie Creek: This historic creek parallels much of the corridor and allows for hunting waterfowl and fishing as well as canoeing/kayaking during the spring runoff.

2. Hummingbird and Butterfly Gardens: The corridor is home to the Hummingbird and Butterfly Preserves along Baker Avenue, Middleburgh. There are murals of hummingbird, butterfly, and dragonfly scenes on trellises erected to support hummingbird vines.
